Saying Goodbye to iLok Pace: A New Era of Software Protection
As of the 1st of October we no longer use iLok (Pace) for the following products: AmpHub, ControlHub, ToneHub & all Tonality suites. We are excited to upgrade to a new license protection system to better serve our customers' needs and overall experience.
This move is aimed at providing our customers with a more streamlined and efficient product activation process.
We are confident that you will find the transition to the new system to be simple and easy, and we look forward to continuing to provide high-quality software and customer support.
Yes, everything is staying the same, the only difference is that you won't be activating your products with iLok(Pace) anymore.

For subscription customers, yes, it is important to update to the latest installers on the 2nd of May, or within a few days of this date.
We highly recommend you update to the new system, as iLok Pace support will stop on 1st October 2023.
You will need an active internet connection when first activating the product for the first time. After the initial activation, you can use the plugin offline without an active internet connection.
Yes, you will be able to use the plugin on up to 3 different machines.
Subscriber customers will also need to update. Once you have updated, open the plugin, log in using your STL Tones account credentials, and simply follow the on-screen instructions to activate your product to the new system.
You will still be able to use the plugins as you currently are. Once updated to the new plugin instllers, the first time you open the plugin, you will be prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to activate.
No, this update does not affect the prices of any products. We are not changing our product prices.

Perpetual users will receive brand-new activation codes on the 2nd of May. Keep an eye out for the emails, and check your spam/junk folders. Subscription users will not need activation codes.
